|High School||Ty Hudson|
Hi my name is Shea Tully and I am currently a Junior at Yucaipa High School in Yucaipa, California. I have been playing water polo for about 3 and a half years now, starting halfway through my 8th grade year. I have been on the Varsity team since I was a freshman at Yucaipa. When high school season is over I play for CHAWP. Athletically, I have worked, and will continue to work, my hardest to do my best. This past year I was chosen to be a part of the Olympic Development Team with the SoPac area. I have played varsity for my school since freshman year. As a high school team we have been successful in two back-to-back Citrus Belt League titles, CIF Quarterfinals my freshman year, and CIF Semifinals my sophomore year. Academically, as a scholar athlete and All-American, I expect nothing less than to strive every school year by challenging myself in the classroom with one or more AP and/or Honors courses each year. I have been a part of my school’s ASB class for two years, my first year I was Sophomore Class Representative, and this year I am the Commissioner of Sports. I enjoy communicating and working with others for the benefit of our student body. I feel that I am a good organizer and rational thinker. For college I expect nothing less than to work and focus on my academics, while at the same time focusing and furthering my athletic career.
I feel that throughout my life, playing sports has given me great structure in how to manage time and live life.
In the pool, I try to communicate as much as possible to let my teammates know what is going on around them. Off the deck, I am the Sophomore Representative for our student council and I am active in the community around town.
As a student athlete, I feel that working out properly, getting enough rest, and getting good nutrition to replenish your body are all key in making me a better player.
