Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Playing West Haven lacrosse was in itself an experience. It has its high and its lows, but nothing can break the passion I have for this sport. I feel as if my lacrosse experience so far has been less than fulfilling, and I don’t want to give up this experience just yet. I have so much to give, so much dedication; I will prove myself in anyway possible.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As we approach my senior season, the team is expected to do indoor leagues at CFC Arena in Hamden, CT... but this was a challenge this year. The captains of the team and other coaches did not want us to participate, and pushed off starting preseason. Here, I took the initiative to sign up not only myself, who was extremely disappointed, but other girls on the team who felt cheated. We were only able to get about 11 girls to participate (and we need 7 on the field at a time), so subs was difficult, but we made it work and got good stick time in.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
