Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

College will be something so different from what is normal to. me. My school has prepared me astronomically well for academics and my rowing club has had the rigor for me to succeed. When I go to college to row, I don't want to be on the team, I want to be apart of the team. Being apart of a team has taught me to be something bigger than myself. Being on the water brings out my happiness, and I want that to continue that in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being a coxswain needs extreme leadership. When practice starts, it is really important to make sure everyone is getting ready to get in the water. It takes instruction and patience while the athletes get in the water. Off the water, as a coxswain, I need to make sure everyone is doing well and make sure everyone has water and food post workout.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have always had a heart for community. My main focus is helping the special needs community. I volunteer every week at my church and also am working on a project to make a weekly adventure for the special needs.
