Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be someone when I grow up. I want to be a leader and a role model like my role models, Cristiano Ronaldo and Novak Djokovic. I have a specific interest in soccer and tennis. They are my passions, especially being competitive. They sort of counterbalance me. For example, Soccer brings out my drive, my dedication, and my ambition while tennis, on the other hand shows my determination, my focus, and my patience. I want to be able to have an effect on younger people like others did to me. My dream is to play at the World Cup and also be able to play in an ATP Tour. It has been my goal to be able to play these sports and achieve my dreams of playing both sports for years on end. I have been working my hardest through a minor injury for the past month. I have special connections to the United States, Mexico, France, Portgual, and Thailand. If I were to be able to play in the world cup or represent any of these countries or multiple ones, it would make my life complete. I am even teaching ,myself French, Spanish, and Portuguese and my grandmother who was born in Thailand is going to be teaching me Thai, her native tongue. I want to be apart of the two sports for as long as I can so that I can touch people from many parts of the world whether it be Central Africa, the Middle East, Central America, etc. and give hope to the people of the less fortunate the opportunity and drive to reach their goals of bein a professional sports player. I want to continue to get better and show people of both genders, all races, and all people of all socioeconomic status that anything is possible and achievable throught drive, dedication, and perseverance.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have brought up issues that the team has been facing on the courts as a whole and individually and addressed them in order to fix them. I am in AVID, Leadership, Drama, Tutoring and the Environmental Club. All of these require me to be a role model and a leader for the students who come after me.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to not strain myself when I have minor or major injuries that require attention. I eat healthily just about everyday, like fruits, vegetables, dairy- not too much-, and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. I try to stay away from unhealthy snacks. I am also vegetarian (pescatarian actually) and it allows meto eat healthier things like vegetables and fruits, but it also benefits me as it keeps me away from a lot of grease and unhealthy levels of consumption of oils.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am heavily involved with our sports within my community and my school. I am in Associated Student Body at my high school and I push for support for all sports whether it be football, track and field, softball, etc. When there is lack of support and unity, I try my best to instill a positive attitude. I have been in touch with my community for a while and it is my best interest to come back to my city and restructure the fallen and destroyed parts of the city and restore the greatness of the beloved and diverse background. I want to help out the poorer aspects of my community, but I haven't been able to help due to my poorer past and financial situations, I am passionate about unity and diversity for a community and how important it is to any one person's life, like how interspersing cultures can bring us together and not apart.
