Personal Highlights

I’m happy to say we had an undefeated season and we won state champs 2021!
I was captain of my JV lacrosse team.
I started a fundraiser for the Idaho Humane Society when I was seven. I’ve held it every year since and have raised over 11k.
I’ve been fortunate enough to travel extensively: I’ve been to many of the US states as well as Canada, Germany, France Greece and Turkey.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I would love to be recruited because I truly want to continue my lacrosse career. I can't imagine lacrosse being over for me in a couple of seasons! I would feel proud that a college or colleges felt strongly enough about me as an athlete as well as student to pursue me.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I was voted captain of our JV lacrosse team this season. I believe to be a captain, you must lead by example. I worked hard, and was competitive, but also friendly, funny and supportive. I also show leadership by my work with the Idaho Humane Society. I started the fundraiser when I was a child and continue to hold it every year.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I love lacrosse and even though sometimes practice is exhausting because I've been in school all day and it's hot outside, I know that every step I take is making me healthier in my body and my mind. At the end of practice if feels good to be exhausted. I feel like I've accomplished something.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in my community primarily through my love of animals. In our family we always adopt pets from the shelter. When I was seven, I started a fundraiser for the Idaho Humane Society. I solicited friends, family members, parents and local business owners to assist. I'm proud to say, I've held the fundraiser every year since and to date I have raised over $12,000 for this charity. I also have donated my time to our local Ronald McDonald House and City of Lights, a local women & children's shelter in Boise, ID. These acts are important to me because I have been raised to believe that giving back and helping those who need it is so important for us a society and a species. It feels good to be kind.
