I want to be recruited to play baseball in college because of the love I have for the game. Additionally, I want to take my talent to the next level, whether that be Juco, D3, D2, D1, or NAIA. I would love to play in college and prove to my doubters that I am capable to be great.
Being a leader on and off the field is very important as a person and a player. On the field, just the simple picking your teammate up after an error, strikeout, mistake on the bases, etc. That is important because you are a team and one play or error doesn't define the player you are. Off the field, the simple things again, helping people out, a simple act of holding the door open for someone. Another example off the field is on social media, picking someone up when they're down, encouraging them to be great and not do stuff that will harm their future.
I pursue a "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete by trying my best in school and being great on and off the field. Sometimes people forget the "student" part in student-athlete, and that can be the thin line between receiving an offer or scholarship and not receiving one.
To be honest, I am not very involved or as involved as I should be in the community. The small part I am involved in is just being a good example for the younger ages in public, not being a menace and not doing stuff that could possible harm my future, on or off the field. Being a good example to my brother and sister. Helping my brother and sister in school and in sports.
