Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I’ve been wanting to run in college for a while now and its been a big goal of mine. I want to achieve my goal.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

As a Freshman in XC regionals, during the race our team had a rough start and I realized that we were falling behind and I took the lead for the team and we ended up getting second in the region. Off the field in Middle School, I participated in FCA (fellowship of Christian Athletes) and i would lead the service and set up the service for the people that came early in the morning.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I perform healthy athletic performance by always being aware of how I can be the best at what I am doing. If that means training on off days and sacrificing things then that is what I will do.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been in AVID since 6th grade and AVID has made me more involved in the community with tons of community service. I also participated in FCA for 3 years in Middle School and assisted with that. In summer I also help in a camp that teaches girls how to surf and make art.
