Personal Highlights

My name is Kendyl LaShay and my personal goal is to play libero/defensive specialist in college for a competitive University.  I am in the class of 2022 with a 3.75 GPA, from East Troy, WI. Volleyball has been a significant part of my life and has made me a better person and athlete each and every day. Now that I am in the midst of my career, I cannot imagine my life without volleyball.

I play for coach Jeremy Weis at East Troy High School, 2X State Champion (2013 & 2018), at the Division 2 level.

I am 5'5" tall with a standing reach of 7'0" (84").  My strongest attributes are my athletic ability & consistent passing to target.  I have played both left back and middle back, but prefer left back because it allows me to also cover blocks and use my athletic ability to react quickly to plays near the net.  I am highly driven and a natural leader on the court.  I have also played softball for the past 6 years on a competitive travel team as a pitcher/utility player.

I enjoy school, and put a lot of effort into my education, and that effort has helped me maintain a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. I am not sure my class rank but it would most likely be in the top 10%.  For any D1 colleges seeking both academics and athletes, I would hopefully check those recruiting boxes with my grades.
