Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

It has always been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. For me, sports bring out the best in me in everything I do. So, it just makes sense to continue in college.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a cross country team captain.
I am president of National Honor Society, president of Spanish Club, and Reporter for Future Business Leaders of America

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I know my body, my brain, and my heart. I plan on balancing my academics with my athletic and personal life by finding a medium that makes me happy and brings me the most amount of success. I'm willing to put in the hours for success in both the classroom and on the track.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am an active participant in silver cord or service. I am in my church group, volunteer at church dinners, work at an animal shelter, and volunteer in my concession stands.
