Personal Highlights

My love for swimming started at the age of 10 in a summer swim league. I had always enjoyed swimming, but I felt something different when I put on a cap and set of goggles for my first race. At the age of 12, I joined my first competitive swim club. I learned the importance of being a leader by pushing myself to improve and to celebrate the victories of my teammates. During my freshman year I received my varsity letter, was a member of the all district & all region teams, and was a regular contributor on our freestyle relays. I also volunteer coach in the summer time at my local summer swim team. I enjoy seeing kids get excited about swimming the same way I did the first time I put on my cap and goggles.
