Abigail Wilson

I want to be recruited because I don't feel as if my volleyball career is over. In addition, I want to continue to learn and better my skills throughout my college experience.

On the court, I call plays, and I encourage my teammates to do their best and to maintain a positive attitude. Off the field, I am involved in student council, so I help make my school a better place and encourage others to do so.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by maintaining a balanced diet and exercising regularly to keep my body in shape. I stretch frequently, and I strengthen my body as much as possible. I also work extremely hard to maintain a great attitude and bond with my teammates to get the most out of my athletic experiences.

I am involved in National Honor Society which allows me to participate in a variety of service opportunities. I also frequently assist at pet adoption events, offer free child care to families who can't afford child care, and my family supports other families through the holiday season each year. These efforts are important to me because when I was younger, my family experienced struggles, and we needed help. Through offering these services, I feel as if I am helping people just like me who I can relate to. The pet adoption events are important because I have a love for animals. In addition, this past year, I started a free hygiene supplies service at my school. The service supplies students whatever supplies they need in a private manner. This is particularly important to me because there are many students in my school who need this assistance, and I love having the ability to help them in whatever ways they may need.
