Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I always loved playing basketball, and it has always been my primary sport. I was thinking if I love this sport why not try and go all the way? Although, if it does not work out, I, of course have a plan B, which would be to go into Nursing.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have been a leader on the court because I like to have my whole team in the best possible mindset at practice (to work our hardest) and of course in games (to work even harder). I always tell my teammates, "practice how you would play in a game" and that always gets us ready. Off the court, we like to have team bonding once in a while, which includes having team dinners where we can laugh and joke and just have fun as a team.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I personally drink at least 2-3 glasses of milk a day. Once at breakfast, one at lunch and one a little before practice. It helps me focus and people look at me crazy but it helps my performance also. Another thing is I like to have a banana before my games.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Every year my school hosts a program for little ballers to come and play, have fun, and learn the game of basketball. I love going because it reminds me of how I use to be like that (clueless and trying new things). Basketball has given me many opportunities, so we just want to give others that chance too.
