Unfortunately with COVID there has been no regattas, however, I have been training continually
I am looking to improve my rowing skills to a national level and find the best fit for my academic goals in life.
More often than not I am the stroke in our crew. I take this position very seriously and push my crew by using my positive encouragement and keep my team very focused and goal oriented.
I know that a balance in my life is very important. I spend a lot of time training on and off the water, so in my off time, I go to the barn and spend time with my horse. I find that my time riding is a way for me to let go of any concerns or worries I have and helps me regenerate for the week ahead of training with my crew.
I have been a volunteer at a local horse camp over many summers to support the young children in our area starting out in the Equestrian world. I would ensure their safety in the riding ring and also teach them stable management and riding etiquette.
