Being recruited into college sports has always been a goal of mine. I was really huge into playing soccer in my younger years but then started playing volleyball and realized the love I have for the game. Volleyball has helped me through so many tough milestones in my life, and it’s something that I am not finished with yet. I love volleyball more then anything and I do not want to stop playing before Im ready to walk away. The energy in the stands and on the court when my team gets a point is so refreshing. College volleyball is my dream, volleyball is such a distressor for me that I believe it would be a good thing for me in college.
On the court, I try to be as encouraging as I can be. If there is an issue between two of my teammates I have them talk about it right away to make sure we always play as a team. If someone were to mess up on the court I will do my best to say “you got the next one” instead of playing the “blame game”. We win and lose as a team no matter what.
Off the court I work at Habitat For Humanity and apart of my job task is to go out on the construction site and help instruct the volunteers as to how to be safe and how to do things properly.
As I said before I work at Habitat for Humanity, which is a Non-Profit Organization who build homes for people in need. Before I got a summer job here I would help out and do what they call Faith Builds with my church. I would also volunteer at my church to help the little kids (ages 3-5) get a better understanding as to why finding god is important.
