My name is Kevin Patrick. I am a hardworking student athlete in my Senior year at Joliet West Township Highschool. I am dedicated to the sport of baseball and have rapidly evolved over this current year. I stand out more than many others because my work ethic stands out extremely. I am a 6’2” 170lb RF and play at Team Easton travel baseball in Darien, Illinois. I am eager to play at the next level.

Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Because baseball is something so close to my heart and I play with passion and dedication. I show myself out to be a team leader, holding teammates accountable when the time is right. I go on the field and execute what I need to for my team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I show leadership by holding others accountable when they aren't doing something right. I want my team to perform at their best, therefore it is best for me to make sure everyone is focused on what they are doing.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I prioritize my class grades in school, as well as working constantly in the weight room and in practice with my team.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I help run the baseball camp for kids at Joliet West and try to provide helpful info for them so they can leave with something they learned and hopefully it converts to their game as well.
