Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to continue playing a game I have grown to learn. I would like to see how far I can push myself while gaining more knowledge and guidance on a higher level.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On field - keeping my team on track during practice to make sure we utilize the time effeciently.
Off field - reaching out to my team members to make sure all assignments are completed when classes are missed due to a tournament.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by making sure I control my emotions both on and off the course. I look at all obstacles as learning opportunities and remain open minded in difficult situations.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have served as an active member of the Mayor's Youth Council for the past 5 years. I have cherished the time I have spent on the council and how it has allowed me to be the voice of my peers. I am also a volunteer for Victory Family Church's Victory Kids. Both of these efforts are important to me because I can be the voice for the older kids and be a role model for the younger kids in my community.
