Academics
Personal
Left handed, academics are a priority, focused on teamwork and fitness
I love tennis. I want to play at a higher level and help my future team's success in anyway I can.
I am the captain of my team and encourage my varsity players to help both the men's and women's players at the varsity and JV levels improve. I work with kids through the city's recreation department to help expand the game. I believe in helping the community and have nearly 900 verified volunteer hours. I co-founded the chess club and will attend the Rotary Club's Rotary Youth Leadership Academy camp if they hold it (delayed due to covid-19). I attended Temecula's Young Entrepreneurs Program and have been an intern at a local business. I have also been part of my high school's associated student body class where we run projects, such as dances and rallies as project managers. We learn how to plan, manage and evaluate our projects.
Fitness is important for tennis. If you're not fit, you're not competitive. With Covid-19, I get my exercise by running and footwork drills, as well as playing tennis 5-6 times a week. I'm also taking a yoga class to work on flexibility through my high school.
As mentioned, I am committed to my community and have nearly 900 verified volunteer hours. I have volunteered at numerous organizations, such as Michelle's Place, a women's cancer treatment and counseling group, as well as helped with literacy programs at my city's library. I have helped at events at my school and throughout the district for other schools.
