Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love baseball and I wish to continue to compete at the highest level that I can, while pursuing an academic degree at a very good university.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have played competitive sports for many years. In football and baseball I have been captains of highly competitive teams teams and helped provide guidance to younger or less advantaged players multiple times. In the classroom I help to lead study groups in courses such as AP Chemistry and Math.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I train very hard. I am in the weight room working with a trainer 4 days a week, and also work on hitting 5 days a week while using an arm care/throwing routine which gradually ramps up to 100% throwing. I take a 2-3 month break from throwing while playing other sports in the offseason. I try and eat as healthy as I can.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteered for local food bank organizations and also volunteer for the Novi Youth Baseball leagues and programs. I'm happy to help out people that are in need or could benefit from my contribution.
