One on One Kicking Program
NKR Ranked #22 in nation and #5 in Texas for kicking Class of 2023 and received 4 Stars from the National Showcase kicking competition.
It is my dream to kick one day in the NFL, but a coach asked me this year what was the most important thing to me right now. My answer was easy, academics! You can be the best of the best but if your off the field academics are not top notch then you are wasting your time. A scholarship will allow me to not only play the sport I love but decrease the financial burden on my family and allow me to chase my dream. Accepted into the One on One Kicking Program which is helping me to work every month on my form and getting the best training from professional kicking coach's is allowing me to become better everyday.
On the Field my team relies on me to be the best, I show my leadership everyday when they are leaving practice and I am still on the field kicking. They see that I am willing to step up and put the time in to make sure that every time I enter the field I can contribute to the team and put points on the board.
Off the field I am active in Boy Scouts, and currently a Life Scout working on my Eagle. With Boy Scouts you learn leadership and how to be an effective listener and speaker. I have led my patrols and also lead the new scouts through a 6 month Trail to First Class (TFC) class which is a requirement for them to speed up there learning process.
My daily intake of healthy foods ranges from 3,000 calories to 5,000. Due to my active life style I am making sure what I am spending daily and at practice I am putting back into my body, plus more. I make sure that it is balanced with vegetables, meat or chicken, nuts, dairy and fruit. My dad says I am a human disposal when it come to food.
I also work on the ABS method (Always Be Stretching) and having a balanced diet decreases the chances of injury and making sure I am working the ABS method all day long keeps me from getting sore.
I am involved in Boy Scouts and also involved in my church by being a class leader with Vacation Bible School. I also work on various service project, and I am a certified soccer referrer. I spend most Saturdays on the field refereeing Kindergarten through 6th graders.
