Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
I would love to play volleyball in college to be able to continue my passion for playing the sport. I wouldn't want to give volleyball up after playing for five years as it has impacted my life greatly. I also believe that playing a sport in college would give me an opportunity to make new friends right away and feel more comfortable. Playing volleyball year round, with club and school seasons, has helped me become more efficient with my school work and has helped me better manage my time throughout the school year. These time management skills will be very useful during my college years.
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
