Personal Highlights

My goal is to become a student/athlete in college. Baseball is my first love, but I am a three-sport athlete. I row crew in the fall, play basketball in the winter and play baseball in the spring and summer. I love the game. I love to compete. I love the grind. I am committed to the weight room as much as I am committed to developing my baseball skills. I have to work hard in school, but I do.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I am a competitor. I love the idea of competing against my own personal bests as well as against true opponents. I am at my best when I am a part of a team. I enjoy the camaraderie and brotherhood. I like to be a part of something bigger than myself.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am a goal driven person, but I have really had to learn balance and patience. Balance is something that I consistently strive for. I am a person that at times can work too hard and be too focused on a single goal, and that can be detrimental if I’m not reminding myself to keep balance. I am learning to work smarter rather than just longer. I am learning that some goals are a marathon and not just a sprint.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have an interest in video and photography. This year, it is especially important that our families can participate in school from a distance since we are a closed campus due to COVID-19. I have volunteered to live stream our sporting events. I operate one of the cameras at our sporting events.

During the summers, I take my passion for the game of baseball and I help coach the younger travel teams for my club program.
