Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to play sports in college because I love the competitive atmosphere and like to be given a challenge.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

An example of how I am a leader on the field is through coordinating and making sure that the defense is definite on where to be and who to be on. Off the field I am a leader through volunteer work and in the classroom with group discussions.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

How I pursue healthy athletic performance as a student-athlete is by putting academics in front of lacrosse by making sure I have everything done before I hit the weight room or the field.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

How I am involved in service in my community is through volunteering weekly at an organization called Friendship circle. How these efforts are important because having a brother with down syndrome, I find it crucial to give back and provide kids with exceptions the ability and education to learn social and vocational skills while providing kids a friend and some to talk to.
