Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Baseball has always been a huge part of my life. It has been my dream to play professional ball and follow in my dad's footsteps. I feel that playing in college is the next step in achieving my dream.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I try to be the teams energy. I make sure to pick people up when they get down about their performance, and keep the game fun for everyone. Off the field, I have lead baseball camps for 5-12 year olds to help teach them the foundations from an early age.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have a well maintained diet and exercise plan. I try to eat the best foods to keep my body healthy. This includes zero sugar, lots of fruits and vegetables and countless hours of training.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I often participate in charity events in my community. My most recent has been the toy drive at Shriners Hospital for Children. I worked with Red Lobster to help raise awareness and donate toys and funds to the hospital in the holiday season. These efforts are really important to me because it reminds me that not everyone is as fortunate as I am and gives me the opportunity to change lives for the better.
