Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?
-
Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being a leader on and off the field is important to me. I think it goes with good sportsmanship. I try to meet new people at sporting events, help advise the younger athletes on my team during meets and practices when they have questions. I also try to lead by example in and off the field, as I take great pride in my school work ethic also!

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I try to keep a healthy athletic performance by balancing school/athlete with also some social time with friends and family. I think it’s as important to give your brain and body a rest day during the week as well so you are mentally and physically ready for the new challenges ahead.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

The past 2 summers I have volunteered my time at our little league ball park concession stand. I like being able to give back to our small community through this as I was once a part of our little league organization when I was younger. It’s a nice way to also visit with many of the families from our community young and older.
