Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Playing soccer in college has been my goal since as long as I can remember. I have worked extremely hard to get where I am today, and I still have so much more work to be done. If a coach can recognize my work ethic and my ability to be coached, I would be extremely honored.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Being a center back for a team, you have to be a vocal person, which I think I am. I can see pretty much the entire field because I am on the backline so I am able to let my teammates know when they have a player to mark or I may tell them if they are in the wrong position. Outside of soccer, I have school in which I have straight A’s and that is only possible because I work hard and advocate for myself.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I am the type of person to know what I should and should not do when it comes to my health outside the game. I eat healthy everyday because it tastes good and is good for me.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I coach three year olds on Saturday’s at Syracuse Indoor Sports Center and I absolutely love it because it reminds me of myself and how I started playing the game when I was three years old. Starting kids young in sports helps them develop the same love for the game as players like me who have played for most of their life.
