Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Within my team I have been the Captain for my Junior and Senior season along with working with underclassmen to give then some of my experience within the sport so they can grow and better themselves as athletes. Off the course I am involved with many honor societies. I am also in a leaders class through the physical education department which has allowed me to grow as a team player and strengthen my leadership skills. Last year I had the opportunity to created a credited internship program that worked with our World Cultures Department for students that want to go into education to get hands-on within the classroom to get a better look at what teaching actually looks like.
