Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

My name is Emoné and I'm a senior at Countryside High School in Clearwater, Florida. I started playing soccer when I was seven years old after moving to Florida. I am in my fourth year of competitive soccer and third year on the high school varsity team. I play right and left wing in both club and high school, and have also played striker for both teams. I am known for my break away speed and being able to outrun most defenders. I started tracking my stats and my fastest to date speed is 20 mph.

My goal is to go as far as I can physically and mentally with my life and soccer. I am dedicated, disciplined, focused, and confident on and off the field. I strive to do my best in soccer while maintaining A's and B's. Academically I push myself to take classes that will challenge me to think. My GPA is 3.2, but my goal is to be at a 3.5 by the end of the year. Soccer has taught me time management, hard work, and sportsmanship. I have had the opportunity give back to my community through Meals on Wheels and TOPS, which is a soccer program for special needs kids. These organizations are both inspiring and humbling.

I would like to play soccer at the next level while also using the opportunity as a way to further my education and allow me to pursue a pre-vet/veterinary medicine degree. The ideal college program would allow me to be in a position to be an asset to the team and focus on my education. The coaches would help develop me as a player, push me to my limits, and be a mentor.

Thank you and I look forward to discussing my future with you.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
