Personal Highlights

This past November I officially started to dive under a qualified dive coach. I have made a lot of progress in a short amount of time.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I am relatively new to the sport but I am working hard at my goals to be a collegiate diver. Since I have only just begun competing at a club level, I know that no one knows me and I don't have a diving career record like most of the divers I am competing against. My club coach calls me, "A diamond in the rough."

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

High school team captain sophomore and junior year.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I remain dedicated to work my hardest at all my practices. Even though I have been driving less than a year I spend a lot of time commuting, driving myself to practice up to 5 days a week, with an almost 2 hour round trip some days.
I do my best to take care of my body getting adequate rest, nutrition, work outs and avoid unhealthy situations.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Since 6th grade I have been involved with Young Life. It is an outreach program for local youth where I have invited other kids to come and enjoy a safe and positive community. I serve on work crew at our local camp, Southwind.
