Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Crew has been one of the sports I have loved the most. Crew pushes me to a whole new level mentally and physically and I love the challenge it provides. I have been lucky to have a great team and great coaches who have supported me along this journey.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

During my time in crew I have always helped the underclassmen who are new to rowing and I have helped to create a positive and connecting team. Off the field I always participate in helping my class and working on improving programs for my school community.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue a healthy athletic performance by making sure to eat right, lifting and running on my own time to build my strength and endurance. I also do yoga/ deep stretching to increase my flexibility.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community I have helped in multiple food shelters, I have helped in the Special Olympics and I have also done service with my church. I also have helped with planting trees and other plants around my community. We have a learn to row summer program and I was a mentor for middle school and incoming freshman.
