Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love being on a team and having the highs and lows together as we make friendships and all strive to be the best we can be.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

This year, my junior year, I was elected by the team to be co-captain. I try to help the girls that are new to lacrosse and I have a lot of experience compared to some of them so I think that comes through in practices and at games. Off the field, I help my friends that struggle with school work so we can all do better.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I see that vaping is all over the place in my high school and as an athlete, and just someone who wants to be healthy in general, I do not participate and want to keep my friends healthy, too.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have volunteered at various churches in their food banks to pack food for distribution. I learned early on that community service is important through my membership with the Girl Scouts. Once sports became more serious, it left me less time for the Scouts but I learned a lot of valuable lessons with them.
