Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

My goal is to take my skills to the next levels and contribute to a team's success. I also want to continue to work hard hard, better myself and give 110% .

It's an honor to represent my school and team with pride

Ultimately to be recruited to play on the Women's National and U.S. Team

When I play soccer or my second favorite team sport, basketball. I enjoy being challenged and giving it my all.

Team sports is a great experience for me, and the goal of winning or being the best I can be at it is very rewarding.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

In sports --

Voted Team Captain by my teammates in basketball and soccer which is more rewarding than being selected by my coaches because it means my teammates trust and respect me as a leader.

I work hard, and do my best to lead by example.

I am fully committed. I go to practices, show up early, and I am ready and eager to play.

Outside of sports --

Honored to serve my school as a classroom ambassador for two years

School President representing the student body.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS).

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I make sure to eat right in order to stay healthy.

Stretching and meditation also help keep my body and mind ready.

I drink plenty of water, and I drink extra in the days leading up to a big upcoming tournament.

I like to maintain my stamina and stay fit during off season breaks by continuing my training.

I also make sure to listen to my body when it needs to rest.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

It is very rewarding for me to give back to the community. I enjoy volunteering and helping others less fortunate by volunteering my time:

At the animal shelter and donating gently used blankets and towels during the winter

Christmas caroling at the community elderly center (Green Spring)

Delivering food to those less fortunate through my parish

Donating canned food and winter items to Ecumenical Community Helping Others (ECHO)

Recently due to COVID making I made cards for the elderly and our frontline workers for Christmas and Valentine's Day.
