Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

An example of how I have demonstrated leadership on the field is being captain and motivating my teammates to keep going whether we are losing or winning. Off the field I like to help our younger teammates and also those new to the sports, I like to be able to teach them what I have learned from others and I like to be there for my team when they need it.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete and especially still in highschool it is difficult to maintain a healthy diet and also a healthy lifestyle. What I do to pursue a healthy athletic performance is that I like to avoid all the bad foods and I do have the help of that because of my parents and we all try to eat healthy together so we can avoid those temptations. I also make sure I do not sit around and I try to go on bike rides or out to the park with my nephews for a few hours when there is no practice for soccer. Mentally I try to focus on the positive things and the things that I can work on and the things I can do to improve both in school and on the field.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.
