There is something special about the joy I get from being active. I hate sitting still and I love to play. I love seeing my teammates and all the memories we create. I love the adrenaline that kicks in right before the game/race starts. My goal is to find a program/school that fits my academic needs and my athletic desires. I want to pursue my education alongside playing/running in college. "Work to Win" is my school's motto that has been drilled into my head since my first step into the gym freshman year and I use that motto everyday in my life - whether it be in class or in sports. I want to find a program that will not only be my 'family', but will also push me to perform to the best of my ability.
A healthy lifestyle is of the utmost importance to me - it's as simple as that. I eat clean, whole foods that I love and are good for me. I ensure I get full nights rest and recovery days when needed. I stretch, I hydrate. I take care of myself. More than ever, I understand how important is is to fuel and take care of my body to meet my athletic demands. As a student-athlete, I tackle my school work first then focus on sports second. My education is always put first, and I dedicate myself as much in the classroom as I do on the course/field/court.
