Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be able to have an opportunity to make my own own path and further develop myself as an athlete. I want to be able to go to a school where I can complete and constantly be challenged. I strive for success and I work hard so that I can help others out. Being recruited would mean I would be able to do such things and help me decide the path I want to walk down in life.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the field I follow instructions and help guide my team so that we can stay focused on our goals to become better, work harder, and perform better than anyone else. I keep my teammates responsible for their actions and try to set an example for them to follow. Off the field I teach martial arts and set an example for others to follow by doing my best and winning. I showed them that through hard work I was able to win a world title in taekwondo so that they could too.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
