Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Ever since I was little, I grew up playing sports. However, I didn’t realize how much I loved to play soccer until I was about 10 years old, and I joined a local tournament team. About my freshman year in high school, I realized that I wanted to challenge myself more, and I started this goal of wanting to compete and play in college. Watching college players over the past few years has I inspired me to want to work hard and accomplish this goal.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I have demonstrated leadership on the field, for I encourage my teammates when we are down points in the game. Even if I don’t play in the game, I make sure and encourage my teammates on the sideline. Off the field, I demonstrate leadership in practice by always giving 100% effort.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by running one-two miles at least three times a week, and I lift weights five days out of the week.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I like to volunteer at my local library during the summers. Also, I tutor students at my school who struggle in certain subjects.
