I have coached youth gymnastics for the past 3 years and youth club diving for 1 season.
In addition to diving competitively, I was a USA Gymnastics level 9 gymnast, was the first male cheerleader in my high school's history, was a varsity wrestler in 8th grade, I won a regional ninja warrior competition in 2018, and I enjoy CrossFit.
I have been a competitor all my life and have competed at the state and regional level in multiple sports, and have been achieving new titles and goals through diving. I want to continue my athletic career and my education as I enter the next stage of my life.
Since the summer of 2019, I have coached gymnastics to kids from grades 1st to 7th. Seeing improvement and assisting them to reach their goals is very rewarding and I enjoy it very much. I also received an outstanding leadership recognition from my high school team for helping the junior high divers improve throughout the season.
I really enjoy competing at a high level, and pushing myself to new heights to achieve success in diving. Diving keeps me physically and mentally healthy, as well as helps me manage my time efficiently. I am confident that I will thrive with the structure provided by collegiate level diving.
I have worked at Kids First Sports Center for two years, focusing on giving children the best environment to learn and grow. The strong sense of family and community we offer is the most important part of the job. I have also volunteered at a local food bank called Loaves and Fishes to collect and distribute food to struggling families.
