Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to dive in college so I can continue my new found love for the sport in a setting of growth and development that helps me become a better athlete while also furthering my academic career!

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Athletics wise, I coach diving during the summer to young children at Future Stars summer camp to pass on my love for the sport. Off the field, I am the president of debate team and the vice president of the National Honors Society. I like to think that I am an active member of the academic and athletic worlds!

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

A healthy athletic performance consists of a work-life balance. Although it’s important to give it your all at practice, it’s also important to respect your body, social life, and academic career.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

As vice president of my school’s chapter of the National Honors Society, not only to I participate in community service projects, but I organize them. After being elected, I organized a food drive for my local soup kitchen and developed a “letters for veterans” project for the school to participate in.
