Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be a part of something bigger than myself in college and have the connections that a team offers. I love volleyball and want to continue to play as long as I am able.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am working on including and being mindful of teammates younger than myself. We have a lot of younger girls on our Varsity team this year and sometimes that’s difficult to keep in mind while playing. I have tried to practice with them outside of our normal practices to reduce some of the group pressures.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I feel like being an athlete is a balance of everything. I try to eat healthy, stretch, have a positive attitude, remember my values, family, rest and have fun too.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Our team connects with younger players to help encourage them. This is important to keep the sport going and to build our future with our school.
