Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Ever since I was six, I knew tennis was something I'd want to pursue. Improving my game, teammwork and sportmanship is something I strive to do each year. I love the sport, I love the connections I've made within the sport, and I love the skills and knowledge I've learned from the sport from over the years. In college, I would love to build those same connections with a team and use the skills I've learned to improve my game and help the team.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

As a student-athlete, it can be difficult to maintain that balance. As much as I value tennis, I value my school work even more. I try to make my free time as productive as possible. This includes training for the upcoming tennis season and taking the necessary steps to ensure I maintain a top GPA.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

Every spring semester, I have been involved in coaching Warrior Youth Tennis. It is a program designed to provide young athletes the opportunity to fine-tune their tennis skills in a fun, positive environment. I have also volunteered frequently at my local animal shelter and senior center. This includes playing an active role in its events, as well as hosting game nights on a regular basis. These efforts are important to me because I am very fortunate for what I have, and I value what I can do and the skills I have to make a difference in my area. I am also an active member in Young Life and I attends two meeting each week. I am a Link Crew Leader at my high school.
