Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play baseball because I love the game and would like to continue my career at a higher level and further my academics in the technology/business field.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My greatest attributes are my ability to get along with others and contribute to the success of the team through hard work and dedication. I work out with my teammates and push myself to get better in the weight room and on the diamond.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I work out 4-5x per week at the gym and go to a pitching facility called Total Arm Care 2x a week, where I work on my mechanics, increase my velocity, and develop my pitches. I eat healthily, drink lots of water. I love the game of baseball. I must work hard and leave it all on the field every game. I find the term "Healthy athletic performance" to be more important in school than on the baseball field. I could not play baseball without good grades and being dedicated to school. My grades are treated the same as baseball: the work that you put in is what you get out. This is how I pursue a "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am a mentor in the Buddy Ball program in my hometown of Chatham, where I teach and coach the game of baseball to kids with special needs.
