Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I love the competitive game of golf. I have grown as both an athlete and as a person through golf and the people I have met. I want to contribute to the success of a college team while continuing to get better.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am currently a 3 sport athlete- Golf, Basketball and Baseball. I volunteer and have mentored youth in all 3 sports. I enjoy helping youth develop both physical skills, mental skills and comradery.

Volunteered supporting young golfers
Chosen for a higher youth volunteer position during Firestone PGA and Senior Golf Tournaments
Led sessions for youth basketball and baseball
My golf coach has also asked me to support a fellow teammate who was struggling. I supported my teammate by giving feedback on his game as well as trying to help him get to a good place mentally. He did the work but I am happy to say he improved his game and turned in one of the best scores which helped us to win an important match!

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I feel in order to have a "healthy athletic performance" it takes both physical and mental ability. Being a 3 sport athlete I run and lift. I always try to eat healthy meals and hydrate before big matches and games. Also, I ensure I get enough sleep to help with the mental side of the game. I also spend time with family and friends and read quotes which helps with the mental game

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I come from a family of volunteers. Both of my parents give back in many ways in the community. My coaches also encourage me to participate in activities giving back. Supporting the community is just something I have grown up doing. I support various youth organizations, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, Firestone Youth Volunteer. These organizations might benefit from my time but I feel the time benefits me even more than them! I learn a lot, grow as a person and it feels good to help.
