Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

It has been my dream to play football for as long as I possibly could ever since I was a young kid, watching my two older brothers play football. There is no better place for me in this world than on a football field. On the field and during games I feel as if playing football is what I was born to do. I would be extremely blessed to continue to play the greatest game on earth.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am a leader on the field most in the way that I play, and how I express myself individually to teammates. I believe all of my teammates see me as a brother they can count on, and someone they can turn too when they do not know the answer. Off the field I am a very friendly face around school and even outside of school. Being Catholic and learning of how Jesus lead his disciples gave me a very good foundation of how a leader should act, and of course lead.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I have always believed that a the greatest football players, were the smartest football players. Being smart with my workouts, my diet, and my personal training is an extremely strict part of my game. In any situation that I feel could affect my abilities or my body, it is researched and evaluated by mother who is a registered nurse. My mother is a major factor of why I have never had an injury. She keeps me 100% and keeps me free of any necessary harm I could cause of myself.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My High School requires a specific number of service hours per quarter. Although service and helping others is a major part of my faith and act of leadership, it also gives me the satisfaction knowing I am a part of something much bigger than myself. Service is very important to me, because some people are not nearly as blessed as me. Doing anything I can to give someone a win or victory in their day, it is something I will forever strive to accomplish.
