Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to be recruited to play golf in college because I have been golfing over half my life and I really have enjoyed the journey thus far. I would love to continue this path by playing in college. I feel as though golf and academic studies would be a great way to balance different challenges in life.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

On the course, I lead by my work ethic, and dedication to the sport. Off the course however, I set examples by choosing to focus on schoolwork and well being, leading me along the smarter path in life.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

By making sure to surround myself in a healthy mental state throughout the round, no matter how things are going, my athletic performance seems to be much better. I have learned throughout my time in golf that without a good attitude, one’s golf round will never be at its prime.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

In my community, I am very involved in the American Legion. I go around town putting flags on veteran’s graves with my grandfather, I help out at charitable dinners by serving food, I also volunteer at the local homecoming our town has annually, and many more acts that make differences in the community.
