Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Ever since grade school, running has been important to me. I want to run in college because I love sports and exercise, and I enjoy the competition. Track is unlike any other sport for me. Hard work has a direct correlation with success. You don't have to work on separate skills for years or train with a special coach, what work you put in is what you get out of it. If I push myself hard enough, I succeed.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.
-
Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.
-
Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am involved in Boy Scouts and Community Service Corp for my school. In Boy Scouts we often do service projects. We have done cleaned up invasive plants at parks, built benches, held food drives, and collected coats.
