Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I want to maintain physical and mental health while striving to leave an impact on the school that I represent in my athletic career. I have a passion for rowing and would like to continue as long as possible. I row to win.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

I am currently an Eagle Scout and have participated in Boy Scouts for the last 5 years. I was the senior patrol leader for the troop who’s role is to plan and lead every meeting and camping trip for a troop of thirty over an entire year. As for in sports, having the fastest times comes with the responsibility of leading by example and assisting novices and younger athletes in performing I their maximum potential.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I intend on continuing my practice of having a well rounded diet, practicing injury prevention exercises for long term physical health, and finally, ensuring that my academics always come before athletics while still ensuring that the two do not come in conflict with eachother.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I have been an active participating member in monthly community service with my local church consistently for the past 3 years. Prior to that I would visit farmers markets and collect unsold food and bring it to a senior citizen center to provide fresh meals for disadvantaged seniors.
