Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Softball has been the sport I have kept in my life for 13 years. I've played lots of other sports but softball has always been the one that relieves my stress and helps me feel free. I cannot imagine my life without softball and want to continue playing and having it involved with my life for as long as possible. Playing college ball has always been a dream for me as well. I am a very determined and hardworking player who will work toward any goal set and strive for perfection, even if unreachable.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Off of the field, I am a natural leader by the way I have always gone up to a new person I have never met in my life and helped them feel welcome and comfortable. I also unconsciously take leadership in group projects to make sure everyone knows what parts they need to get done and help them if they have questions. On the field, I am agressive and talkative. I talk my teamates through plays and help the newer players understand what is going on. During games I am loud and talkative as well to maake sure my teamates know where the play needs to happen or to hype them up while on offense.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

I pursue healthy athletic performance by eating lots of protein, drinking lots of water, having a balanced diet, and exercising every day to ensure that I am ready for the practices and seasons. I of course take an off day every Sunday so I do not overwork, but I take around 2-3 hours out of my day for physical exercise, even in summer.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I participate in many activities outside of the school and field by doing community service. I've helped clean after hurricanes, picked up trash off of the coast, renovated rooms for better use, and much more.
