I am a competitor and I want to win. I enjoy the challenge of getting out and competing to be better than I was the last time I went out to compete. I know that I am still growing as an athlete. I believe I will achieve my best athletic accomplishments once I have the opportunity in the college setting. College is the next challenge that I would like to experience.
I like to volunteer to help with practices for younger athletes. I also play field hockey. Every year for the past two years, I have helped assist with teaching our Township youth field hockey teams with their ball control skills. I like that the younger athletes look up to me. I appreciate being a role model for them.
I try my best to be positive at all times. It helps me to stay calm and focused. I believe I have great sportsmanship and am always a positive and encouraging teammate.
I have always wanted to give back to my community. It's important to support people that are less fortunate than you are. It gives you an appreciate for what you have. I have volunteered with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The Philadelphia Sunday Breakfast Association, as well as with the Salvation Army for the Annual Toy Drive. I have also helped with food drives for the Elijah's promise Soup Kitchen/ Food Bank.
