Well rounded student athlete. While baseball is primary sport, have also played 3 years of varsity soccer (starting player all 3 years), 2 years of varsity swimming and 1 year varsity basketball. Freshman year baseball season missed as entire season canceled due to Covid-19.
Strong academically. Also work part-time during school year. Have participated in international mission trip to the Dominican Republic and domestic mission trip to Chattanooga, TN. I am an Estonian-American, speak the Estonian language and have visited my mother's family in Estonia multiple times, traveling there independently. I am driven, dedicated and persistent in all that I do.

Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

Sports have been a significant part of my life since a very young age, and I have a real passion for baseball in particular. I maintain a good balance between my commitments to athletics and academics, effectively managing my time between schoolwork, sports and my part-time employment. I thrive with a full schedule. I believe that I can be an asset to a college baseball program and a look forward to finding a good fit for where to attend college to achieve all that I want both academically and athletically.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

My international mission trip to the Dominican Republic and my domestic mission trip to Chattanooga Tennessee are examples of me being committed to others besides myself. Additionally, after a number of starting players from my high school varsity baseball team graduated following the 2021 season, as a junior this year (2022) I have had a big responsibility to lead a team that includes a number of freshman.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

My pursuit of a healthy athletic performance as a student-athlete is demonstrated by my dedication both to the sports teams that I am on as well as my academic classes. A balance between the two is necessary and my parents have stressed to me the importance of commitment to my studies and have fully supported my athletic activities.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

My involvement in the community includes participation in church-related activities, international and domestic mission trips, and helping elderly neighbors in my community. Like other schools, my school does require community service from all students, and I meet all expectations and requirements of me. Doing these things reminds me to be humble and to remember the world is much bigger than myself.
