I've created Franklin and SUSD's first E-sports organization to compete in CCEL (Central California E-sports League). I've gotten principal recognition for my efforts.
I'm exploring my options of how to expand my brand to someday go pro. The adrenaline of being able to play in a competitive setting is a feeling that will always excite me. That's something that I don't want to lose grasp of. I feel as if I could also learn and improve more as a player by meeting new players that thrive to win.
Being able to demonstrate good leadership comes with good game sense. With my team outside of the game, we bring up topic of discussions that are based off of what we could improve, strategy and team compositions. I lead the conversation and have them note down whatever they would need help with. For example, "what champions would work together team comp wise"? I replied "Twisted Fate is a champion that will never stay out of meta. Him being able to set up plays around the map and securing vision is a big factor to how we want the game to be paced if we have winning lanes. Holding a winning bot lane with a lane like Kai'sa and Nautilus allows us to play around TF's ideal way of snowballing our lead". Kai'sa and TF set each other up when playing around vision by picking enemies off. Kai'sa and Nautilus is a good lane match up because of their aggressive nature which compliments each other. Nautilus having 2 potential cc pre 6 paired up with Kai'sa's passive which stacks with cc allows for early game skirmishes to go in their favor. Knowing crucial information about this means pulling it off in-game. That's where I'm able to call out what should be done in game. Where to place vision, how to play objective, etc.
I treat E-sports as an actual sport. In my school, I've created days where we show up to conditioning where we do different exercises for each specific day. Monday would be legs day, we would do lunges, jogging and squats. Wednesday would be abs and cardio. Friday would be muscle and upper body.
I've created E-sports in my school on the behalf of myself and the people in my city and district. As games start to grow, so does E-sports and the people that love to play video games. They realistically would never be able to be given a chance of ever playing competitive or be in a competitive setting when they're adults. That's why I want them to witness an opportunity while they're still in High-school at Franklin and SUSD by being the first one to create an official High-school team. Of course with many different players that are interested comes many different genres of games. Which is why we have a select few of games that are known in the professional world of gaming. Games such as, League of Legends, Valorant, Smash Ultimate, Rocket League, Overwatch and Apex Legends.
