Additional Questions:
Why do you want to be recruited to play sports in college?

I have been playing the game of softball since I was in kindergarten. I started with tee ball, then baseball, and now softball. This game has been around me for as long as I can remember, and it’s all I really want. Most people don’t get to play after their high school career is over, and I couldn’t imagine what my life would be like without it.

Athletes are often leaders on and off the field. Please provide one example of how you have demonstrated leadership in both areas.

Leadership on and off the field is very important to me. On the field, I make sure everyone is communicating and is aware of what is going on in between each play. It is very important to reach others in a leadership way, especially if you want to win.

As much as it holds importance on the field, leadership off the field means so much, too. The way you present yourself to the community is how they view you as a teammate, athlete, and a regular human in general. Off the field, I took the leadership role of becoming a part of the homecoming court for the class of 2023. I hold a very important role in the junior class, helping others, demonstrating positivity and kindness in my school, etc.

Please explain how you pursue "healthy athletic performance" as a student-athlete.

The way I keep a healthy athletic performance is by simply training all year round. Agility and conditioning for three days a week, bullpen for two days, and weightlifting five days a week. I also keep a strict diet and stay hydrated with 8-10 bottles of water per day.

Please describe how you are involved in service in your community and why these efforts are important to you.

I am an active member of Key Club, which is a community service club based around our county. We volunteer our time to those in need and help out who we can. I also do my own form of community service by supplying perishables to my neighborhood.
